Hotel Italia is based in via Ghibellina 5/7 a few steps from the Piazza della Repubblica, in the heart of Cortona.
We inform you that we have a special permission to let our guest enter within the ZTL (Limited Traffic Zone) area and stop in front of the Hotel to drop the luggage.
In order to do this, you should enter the town by Via Guelfa (we suggest to enter this road on the GPS ), and at the end turn left in via Ghibellina.
Once the luggage has been dropped off at the reception is possible to park the car in a big free parking area at about 200 metres from the Hotel.
The closest train station is Camucia/Cortona in the direction of Roma/Firenze. From Camucia station it is possible to get a bus or an NCC service (hire with driver) to reach Cortona in just few minutes. We recommend booking it in advance; we offer this service and we invite you to contact us at least one day in advance to book the transfer.
From the highway Firenze/ Roma, take the exit called Valdichiana/Bettolle. Then follow in the direction of Cortona.
